Ned is a certified Land Rover Instructor, spending part of his time teaching at the Land Rover Experience Vermont Centre. He is also the founder, a board member and president of the Defenders Off-Road Club of New Hampshire (DORC-NH), the New Hamphire Land Rover Club.

Ned has been guiding and instructing in various off-road capacities for over 10 years. Guiding in the Northeast is where you commonly will find him, he does love vacationing off-grid out west. He spends much of his down time in UT, CO, NM camping and exploring the many amazing parks and trails.

When he’s not in his 2022 Land Rover Defender 110 (aka StormTrooperLandy), he’s teaching skiing, coaching hockey or enjoying his 226 year old farm Feather Tail Farms with his 4 golden retrievers; Wila, Pippa, Mac and Graham. A life long learner, Ned is usually spending free time taking courses with other world renowned instructors and is currently apprenticing with the I4WDTA for additional certifications. Ned is also Red Cross 1st Aid Certified.

Dan is an adventurer from the scenic landscapes of western New Hampshire. At a young age, he developed a passion for the outdoors through scouting. This instilled in him not only an appreciation for the natural world but also a strong sense of adventure and exploration. 

His enthusiasm for discovery and commitment to sharing experiences with others make him not just a skilled mentor but also a passionate explorer committed to fostering a love for the outdoors in those around him. 

With a diverse background in mechanics and engineering, he is proficient in vehicle repairs, upgrades, and fabrication. His expertise in mechanics complements his love for outdoor adventures, and he has designed and built several of his trail systems for storage and overlanding.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, he has embarked on numerous adventures, exploring the great outdoors on various platforms, including dirt bikes, Montero, Tacoma, and Jeep. His passion for navigation and trail finding is evident in the way he curates a 'wishlist' of trails to explore, uncovering new paths and hidden gems in the wilderness. 

As he looks to the future, he aspires to extend his adventures further into the northeastern landscapes while also continuing to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Southwestern US.
